Ekadashy -Suresh Gopi,Shobhana Thriller

Again Suresh Gopi and Shobhana are coming together in a movie.
The movie has been titled as Ekadashy.Ekadashy will be directed by Ashok R Nath.
Other major roles in the movie are handled by Navya Nair, Manoj K Jayan, Vineeth and Sukumari.
These days Malayalam film industry is undergoing lot of issues.The problems between MACTA and official association and the entry of trade unions in the film industry all created unnecessary issues.

The only thing which is not happening in Malayalam cinema industry is a 'Hit movie'.
Rare hits are happening once in a while.
God knows where it is heading to!

Prithviraj does triple role in Raghupathi Raghava Rajaram

The next super star of Malayalam film industry Prithviraj is doing triple roles in Shaji Kailas movie titled Raghupathi Raghava Rajaram.

Prithviraj will be doing a triple role for the first time in his career.
Obviously the characters that Prithviraj plays will be Raghupathi, Raghav and Rajaram.
A.K Sajan does the script and dialogues.
Since Shaji kailas always does some thing different and the curiosity of a triple role story definitely will invoke some interest in this project.

Exit polls 2009 kerala loksabha opinion poll results :CNN IBN

CNN IBN (http://ibnlive.in.com)conducted extensive exit poll throughout the country and they have some interesting findings.
According to their exit poll results Kerala will witness an increase voting percentage for congress that could result in a major reversal for LDF in terms of seats.

Another interesting findings by them is "LEADER MOST PREFERRED TO BE CM OF KERALA".
In this list V S Achuthanandan is in the lead with 34%.
Oommen Chandy: 20 percent and A K Antony: 6 percent.

Interestingly the CPI(M) State chief who is facing corruption charges on Lavlin case , Pinyari Vijyan got only 1% support.

Other interesting outcome of the survey is that Majority disapproved of LDF’s alliance with Madani and that resulted in swinging Muslim votes towards UDF.

The opinion poll conducted by CNN-IBN says Congress and its allies (UPA) is likely to get anywhere between 185 and 205 seats and BJP and its allies(NDA) is projected to get anywhere between 165 and 185 seats.

'Jet2Kerala'-Jet Airways tie up with Kerala Tourism

Kerala is a globally known tourist destination.Popularly known as 'God's Own Country' was once selected as one among the ten must see places in the world.
Now to attract more travelers Kerala Tourism has tied up with private carrier Jet Airways to offer 'Jet2Kerala'.The special scheme offers low-cost air tickets to domestic tourists flying to the state.

hsCAP 2009, Kerala Higher Secondary Centralized Allotment Process(DHSE)(hscap.kerala.gov.in).Plus one admission.

Centralized allotment process for plus one admission HSCAP 2009.
The Government of Kerala has introduced centralized allotment process or admissions to higher secondary (plus one) courses.
The admissions to the management and community quota would be done at the school level.
This single window system will cover 24,555 seats in Government and aided school under the open merit quota.

'Value homes', Tata now offering Nano houses for less than 4 lakh rupees under it's 'Shubh Griha' project.Through Nano car Tata created history and is repeating again by offering affordable houses for common man.
This is an interesting development.
The proposed is in Boisar near Mumbai (2.30 hrs train journey).The homes would cost between Rs 3.9 lakh to Rs 6.7 lakh, minus the registration fee.
Tata is planning to offer the same plans in Bangalore, Kolkata, Gurgaon, Pune and Goa also.

10 directors to direct one Malayalam movie!

Recently Malayalam film industry created a unique experiment by making a film with all stars and super stars.The movie twenty 20 became a huge hit.These days hit movies are very rare in Malayalam film industry 8 out of 10 movies are flops irrespective of super star movies or non super star movies.

Now there is another unique experiment in Malayalam cinema.10 directors decided to direct a single movie.This concept is initiated by ace director Ranjith.
Ranjith's Capital Theatres will produce this film.Each of the directors will make a will make a short film of nearly 15 minutes duration.Travel will be the center theme of the movie.
The ten directors who will be invloved in the project are Lal Jose, Shaji Kailas, Anwar Rasheed, B.Unnikrishnan, M.Padmakumar and the new order Shyama Prasad, Revathi, Anjali Menon, Uday Ananthan and Shankar Ramakrishnan.

Thrissur pooram 2009(trichur) 'vedikettu'(fireworks) starts at 3 AM.

Thrissur pooram is now going on at Thrissur.The fireworks will start at 3AM in the morning.
Thrissur pooram undoubtedly is the most colorful temple festival of Kerala.

The impressive processions of those Thriuvambadi Bhagavathy from the Thiruvambadi Sri Krishna Temple and the Paramekkavu Bhagavathi from Paramekkavu temple are the major and the main part of the Pooram.highlights of the pooram are Kudamatam and the firework show known as 'Pooram vedikettu'. The celebrations which last for over 36 hours includes parasol displays and firework shows.

MGU signs MoU with Chinese Jinan University

Mahatma Gandhi University signed a MoU Jinan University, China aimed at initiating cooperation in the fields of joint research, teaching and exchange of staff and students and promote the academic standards and internationalization of both sides.Recently Rajagiri group of institutions has entered into a strategic academic partnership with RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia.

This is a good initiative since it offers lot of new opportunities in joint research and cultural exchange.
Jinan has the largest number of overseas students among all Chinese Universities and more than 60 Indian students were studying Medicine at Jinan.
